As one of the first organized clubs in Canyon Lake, we have worked since 1969 to earn a solid reputation within our community through service, event hosting, volunteering, certifications and facility development.

We have proudly established ourselves as one of the nation's most successful ski clubs through hosting numerous sanctioned tournaments, producing world-class certified waterski officials and being the home to world, national and regional champions. ​

Some say the North Area ski dock is also a place “where everyone knows your name.” It is a place where skiers become part of a larger family. It’s a place where children build character traits, like sharing, listening, managing themselves, waiting their turn, helping, celebrating the success of others and giving back.

OUR PURPOSE

The primary purpose of the Canyon Lake Ski Club is to promote the sport of water skiing. Activities of our club include hosting ski tournaments; maintaining and beautifying the slalom course and ski jump areas; conducting community ski events; hosting annual events such as Breakfast with Santa and Polar Bear Day; Learn to Ski Day, Lake Clean Up Day, and in keeping with the non-profit theme, donating funds and volunteering time for the continued improvement of Canyon Lake.

CANYON LAKE

​Our club is based in the city of Canyon Lake, a private gated community in Southern California. In addition to a water ski slalom course and jump facility, the community’s amenities include a 383-acre lake, 18-hole golf course, basketball, tennis and pickleball courts, equestrian center, baseball fields, a lakeside campground, and more than twenty parks and beaches.
